3 Proven Methods to double sales online!

Every few days I get the question asked, How do I double my traffic?  How do I double my sales?

Although there has been tough economic times for many businesses, those turning their focus online have grown exponentially.

For starters, how many of you reading this still use a phone book?  For years we've thrown away our Phone book and simply used Google to find what we want.  You're probably the same way.

Now, let's cut to the chase and I'll give you 3 ways to triple your sales.

1. SEO - Search Engine Optimization is a great way to boost your traffic.  For example, I'm currently working with a company selling weight loss products.  As I was researching, I found out that there are over 1,000,000 searches per month for weight loss.  Yes, that's 1 million.  If they were to be in the top 10, they would receive an enourmous amount of traffic.  There are many stratagies to SEO, including microsite optimization, content pages, and link building.  If you're not doing it, you're missing out.  Even B2B organizations should be doing this.

2. Follow-up -You'd think that big businesses would get this... No then don't.  A lead comes in, or a buyer buys and they simply ignore them.  Follow up is critical.  You can use automation to remind a buyer of new sales, and offers.  Leads can be sent special promotions via email and direct mail.  The secret is building your funnel.

3. Marketing Arsenal - Online there are many ways to get traffic.  Craigslist, Ebay, Youtube, Twitter, Facebook... I could go on and on.  But the thing you need to realize is that you can generate huge amounts of traffic by simply using the watering hole marketing approach.  Find where people are and then post your message.  It is easy to do and very affordable.

So there you have it.  Do those things, and you can double your sales!
